supported living.

1.png

Also known as supported accommodation or supported housing, is a type of residential arrangement designed to provide assistance and support to individuals who may require help with daily living                 activities. It is commonly used for people with disabilities, mental health issues, or other support needs.

New Venture Care ensures that individuals have their own self-contained living space, such as a flat or       apartment, where they can live independently. However, support staff or professionals are available            around the clock to provide varying levels of assistance based on the individual's needs. The aim is to          promote independence, choice, and inclusion while ensuring that necessary support is available.

The support we provide in supported living can include help with personal care, household tasks,               managing finances, accessing healthcare services, developing social and life skills, and participating           in the community. The specific level of support is tailored to the individual's requirements, and it                can range from a few hours a week to 24-hour support, depending on the service users' needs and            goals.

New Venture Care, as a care provider, often works in collaboration with local authorities and social                services to ensure the appropriate level of support is delivered to the individuals residing in the                   supported living accommodations.

The primary goal of supported living is to empower individuals to live as independently as                           possible while having access to the necessary support services they require to enhance their                       quality of life and achieve their personal goals.

live-in care.

Live-in care is a form of home care where a professional caregiver lives with the

individual in need of assistance in their own home. It is an alternative to residential

care or nursing homes, allowing individuals to receive personalized care and support

in the comfort of their familiar environment.

In a live-in care arrangement, the assigned New Venture Caregiver typically resides in

the person's home for a specified period, such as a few days, a week, or even longer

durations, depending on the agreed-upon schedule. The caregiver is available around

the clock to provide various types of support, including personal care, household tasks, companionship, and any other assistance the service user may require.

The specific duties of a live-in caregiver can vary depending on the individual's needs

and preferences. They may help with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing,

dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support. They can also assist with meal

preparation, medication management, light housekeeping, running errands, and accompanying the individual to appointments or social activities.

Live-in care is particularly beneficial for individuals who have significant care

needs or prefer the continuity and familiarity of being in their own home. It offers a

higher level of personalized care compared to other care settings, as the caregiver

can focus solely on the individual's needs without dividing attention among multiple

clients.

New Venture Care assigns caregivers who are well trained professionals possessing

the skills and qualifications to meet the specific care requirements of the service user. Overall, live-in care provides a comprehensive and continuous care solution, allowing individuals to maintain their independence, receive personalized support, and continue living in the comfort of their own home while ensuring their safety and well-being.

domiciliary care.

Also known as home care or home-based care, refers to a range of                                             support and assistance provided to individuals in their own homes.                                            It is a form of care that enables individuals to remain in their familiar                                             environment while receiving the help they need to maintain their                                                independence and quality of life.

Our home care services are administered by trained care assistants                                         or home care professionals who visit the service users' home at                                                 scheduled times to provide assistance and support. The services                                                 offered can be tailored to the specific needs of the individual and may                                        include:

                                 1. Personal care: Assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as                                       bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support.

                            2. Medication management: Help with medication reminders, ensuring                                     medications are taken correctly and at the prescribed times.

                   3. Meal preparation: Assistance with meal planning, cooking, and ensuring                                proper nutrition.

                  4. Household tasks: Support with light housekeeping duties, laundry, cleaning,                      and organizing the home.

           5. Companionship: Providing social interaction, conversation, and emotional                          support to combat loneliness and promote well-being.

   6. Transportation: Assisting with transportation to medical appointments, grocery                    shopping, or other errands.

7. Respite care: Providing temporary relief and support to family caregivers who need a break from their caregiving responsibilities. Our domiciliary care services are well arranged and coordinated by the management and the service users and their families. The level of care and frequency of visits can vary

based on the individual's needs and preferences. Some individuals may require a few hours of assistance per week, while others may need more extensive care with multiple visits per day.

Domiciliary care offers several benefits, including personalized care in a familiar environment, the ability to maintain independence and privacy, and the opportunity to remain connected to the local community. It can be particularly beneficial for older adults, individuals with disabilities, or those recovering from illness or surgery who require assistance but prefer to remain in their own homes.

The goal of domiciliary care is to support individuals in leading fulfilling lives while promoting their well-being, safety, and autonomy within their home environment.
